1 Oct – Zama Killer Katanas Roller Derby Photography
October 1, 2013 in Portrait
I’ve had a soft spot in my heart for the Zama Killer Katanas Roller Derby team since they were formed at about the same time we arrived in Camp Zama, Japan. I immediately took to roller derby photography and, although many players have come and gone due to the military-centric roster, I think we have both grown and worked hard to hone our respective skills to its current state. We took some time this past weekend to photograph a few individual player shots and then ended the evening by shooting a few group photos in front of the Yokohama Minato Mirai skyline. I am extremely pleased that we had another opportunity to showcase this talented group of individuals! As always, I couldn’t have done this without the help of my wife – Thanks, Frances!
